    open folder

    hello friend
    i m using fedora core 6 and kde desktop.
    my problem is that whenever i open a folder by default this folder open in gedit,it through the message "could not open the folder".
    pls help me as soon as possible.

    it creates me a lots of problem,i am not able to enter within the folder.

    A friend of mine had a similar problem a little while ago, it should be just a matter of changing a setting konqueror:

    Open Konqueror, go to Settings --> Configure Konqueror
    Go to File Associations, and in the Known Types area, select Inode --> Directory
    Now set the Application Preference Order so that Konqueror is at the top of the list.
    Click OK and it should all work properly now.
