    Question [Question] USB boot menu

    Hello,

I'd like to create a bootable pendrive with multiple applications (e.g. Slax and Ultimate Boot CD), but I don't know how to create a menu, or something like that. Is there anyway that I can do that, maybe with GRUB, LILO, or any other tool?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, SmartCheetah. Welcome to the forums.

You could probably accomplish this with either GRUB or LILO but I would recommend trying GRUB first because it would probably be a little easier.

Here's a how-to for installing GRUB to a USB drive. I would do that first and then put Slax and the boot CD on it.

Hi Thrillhouse and thank you for your help. I'll try it later.

There is another question that I forgot to put in the first post:
How can I make a CD to boot my pendrive on PCs that don't have the USB boot option?

You can use Smart Boot Manager CD or Floppy for that.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
