    Musix

I'm downloading the musix 1.0 R2 live cd right now and i'm kind of new to the linux world. I was just going to ask for some help to make sure i do this right. I'm looking for audio/video editing software. I've tried Dyne:bolic and i like it, but i had some problems with it recognizing all my hardware and my nest file never worked.

I have a couple of questions:
    1. Will Musix run well on an older computer that i'm going to build specifically for audio/video production? Also, will it run well on a newer laptop?
    2. When i burn the live CD do i just need to put the files directly on the cd or does it need to be burned in a special way? Because when i downloaded dyne:bolic i had to use nero or something to burn it for the Iso image to boot.

    thank you

Don't know about musix. About the cd iso image, you just need a program that can burn the iso as an image, and not as a regular file. If you put it as a file into your cdrom it will not work. You need to burn it as an image. And after burning it, you should see all the files that there are inside the cdrom, and not the iso file.

In linux you can use cdrecord for this. K3b or any graphical frontend would work as well.
