    Browser concern

    Hi,

I would just like to ask if this could be consider a browser issue. I am running kubuntu on one box. while surfing the net i tried using firefox but the respond in loading a page is quite slow. so what i did was clear the cache and cookies and the necessary stuff but still did not work fine. So I tried looking for an option and found out the KUbuntu has a browser built in called Konqueror tried using that one and it seems to have no problem at all. Question

    1) does anyone knows why this is happening...Is there a part which i should know about web browser behavior? as you see i am desperate in using firefox.

    hope someone could help out...

Sometimes IPV6 causes Firefox to slow down. Try disabling it using the instructions here and see if that makes a difference.

Yep, I agree with daark.child about IPV6 possibly being the problem. I used to run into that issue frequently with various distros, but disabling it made things fly again.

If it's not that, post back.
