    ummm, i downloaded and burned fedora onto 4 cd but they say that my cpu dosnt support longmode?

    if you dont have a 64 bit processor then those iso's wont work for you here is the ones that will

    "64-bitter" - more specificically, an AMD Opteron or Athlon64 (or Athlon64 FX). Intels Itaniums wont work (IA-64 - non compatible with AMD64 (! x86_64 or AA-64))

    yup, learing the archetetucres is a pain, im in a constant search for a table or chart that shows them all, but alas i have yet to find something of that nature. Instead, its just from listening to the forums, and installing my own.

    That was my bet, too.

    Check out that link that big_k posted for the correct ISOs. A pentium4 is x86 NOT x86-64, just fyi.
