Create a normal “user” with “shut down” privileges

    Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a normal “user” with “shut down” privileges?

It is for this IBM EXS at the office that is using some scale down Linux. I don’t know the actual version. Is there some command for this? I have searched online but I can find none.

We want to let a junior user (me) do shutting at the end of the day, rather than have the administrator do this.

Thank you very much for your help.
    Rgds
