    create a new partition

    hai everybody

    i installed redhat 9.0 in 10 GB of 40 GB disk
    i want to create a new partition in the free space

    pls help me for this

    That's easy enough with cfdisk. You should have the documentation on your computer. Also, you can man cfdisk. Although, the man page may be a bit cryptic for a newbie.
    As a last resort(which should actually be your first resort) google for cfdisk.

    you can try qtparted (google it).it is a clone of partition magic for linux....
