    copying dsl image failed /dev/sda2 is not mountable

    Total Newbie here

    I'm trying to install Damn Small Linux under VMware in Vista

    Created the following
    sda1 Primary Linux Swap 254.99 MB
    sda2 Primary Linux ext3 8332.21 MD

    I keep getting a
    copying dsl image failed /dev/sda2 is not mountable
    error message when I reboot to complete installation

    What am I missing?

    Dam Small Linux problem

    I think your kernel does not support ext3. It has to be compiled into the kernel. Can you change it to ext2 ? What version of DSL do you have ? Check /proc/filesystems to see what is supported
