Removing Linux
I'm wondering how to remove Linux without ruining my computer. I'm running Kubuntu and WindowsXP dual-boot on seperate HDs, and I want to replace Kubuntu with Windows Vista. I've searched Google and I can't seem to find anything that I can understand. I don't have the WindowsXP boot CD. Please keep it as simple as possible I'm still not very good with linux.

You'll need to do two things... remove GRUB from the MBR and delete or format the Linux partitions.
If you don't have the WinXP installation CD, you can use the SuperGRUB LiveCD to remove GRUB from the master boot record (MBR):
http://supergrub.forjamari.linex.org/
Just follow the menu driven prompts for restoring the Windows bootloader.
For working with your partitions, I recommend using the PartedMagic LiveCD:
http://www.partedmagic.com
It's easy to use and is a clone of Partition Magic.
Let us know how it goes.oz

I have done this with several versions of windows on one PC. It was a while ago, but as long as the oldest version of windows is on the first disk/partition, it should work. I don't know if vista is different. I also don't know why you would even want it, with all of the bad reviews it's getting.
As always, it is best to go to the source for the best information.
How to create a multiple-boot system in Windows XP
Windows Vista no longer starts after you install an earlier version of the Windows operating system in a dual-boot configuration
First wipe the disk clean with supergrub or partedmagic, so windows won't have a problem.
Here's another link with more info on how vista boot is different.
