    Swap

So I decided that 2 gigs of SWAP space was too much, I unswapped it, and used gparted to make it a gig, then I added the extra gig to another partition that I have. The problem that I have is that when I reboot the SWAP is "unswapped" and I have to go into gparted, right click the SWAP partition and actually activate it (forget the exact term it uses). Where do I go to make it so it auto activates the swap space again? Thanks all

I'm not sure if I'm reading your post correctly but if you have the space created and you just want it to be activated as swap at boot time you can create an entry for it in /etc/fstab. Take a look here to find out how.
