    Hello all.I am installing linux on my ps3 as soon as it comes back from repairs.I have a question.Can someone recommend a cheap pc i could install ydl6 to?I would like to use that to train myself before installing on playstation.Thanks in advance.

    YellowDog is a PPC OS, so it won't run on a normal PC. You need to get PPC based hardware e.g. an old Mac.

    cool i have an old g3.but have been lookin at a g4 dual 500mhz.would that be a decent system?btw i would rather not have to get a pc anyways

    To be frank with you, I don't know much about MACs (I've mostly used Linux or FreeBSD on PCs), so can't really give any decent advice about the hardware. You could contact the YellowDog developers and find out if they support your hardware.
