    Smallest Boot with USB support

Hi all. My first thread and no experience with linux.

What I am looking for is a small OS (no need for any GUI) which can boot up a pc from a USB stick and load drivers for USB 2.0.

next step is to install a ghost image to the local HD using linux shell (or whatever it's called ;-D).

is this posibble to do using Linux (coz it ain't in MS-Dos^^)?

    thanx

DSL is very small (surprise surprise ) and I believe does not contain a graphical interface out of the box. I am not sure if it can be installed to a USB device, but then again I don't see any reason why not... I would give it a try!
When I find myself burried in errors, Windows Help appears to me; speaking words of wisdom, Reboot!
