    Help you with what?

Sorry, but I don't get it. If you want to switch back then switch back.

If you are having problems with wireless cards, try getting ralink based cards which work out of the box on most modern distros. Most Edimax branded 802.11g cards use ralink based chipsets. One thing to note is that you may have to use WEP instead of WPA because some of the cards don't work well with WPA.

When are you getting the BSOD? If you can't boot directly from your XP CD then youll have to go into your CMOS setup to make sure CD is selected in the boot order. Once it boots, just format NTFS.

What cards have you tried and what chipsets did they use? What method did you use to try and get them working? Most cards I've dealt with work with either madwifi or ndiswrapper. What version of Linux were you using to test them?

Thank you for your answers, Techie Moe here is my problem. I just reinstalled fedora 8, and am installing the livna repos. I found this thing called the Linuxwtant, and am trying this with my WMP11 V4 Linksys Inprocomm chipset. If this doesnt work I will try ndiswrapper, and will need some help.

    Fedora 8 Kernel -6.23.18.1-42

I am getting the BSOD after it config. the file system and reboots to launch from CD in Windows

I assume what you mean is "Linuxant", which is essentially another version of NDISWrapper. I would recommend you download ndiswrapper from the Fedora repositories and use that in conjunction with your Windows drivers to get the card working.

I don't understand what you're saying. Blue screen of death? In Fedora? Can you be more specific as to the error you're getting? Take out your Windows CD if it's in the drive.

Yes but when I try ndiswrapper I cannot see the Essid/acccess point SO i though linuxtant would work. (Do you know how to fix that?)

I get the BSOD during the Windows install. Once it sets up the file system(you know NTFSwith the blue background) then once it restarts to go into Windows and do the actual install, I get it.
