what will happen or what will be the changes if reboot=bios option given in grub's kernel parameter? Can anyone expalin me?

That's a parameter usually passed in the lilo.conf file for a warm reboot. I'm not sure what would happen under GRUB.

the reboot having warm cold and bios options. I dont know for what we have give this kernel, why should it in lilo.conf. I have seen reboot.c file /linux-2.6.23.12/arch/i386/kernel folder. In that file only all options are given. Can anyone explain it?
