Hi and Welcome !
Fedora installer doesn't detect other installed distros ( except Windows OSes
) and one has to add entries of those in Fedora's GRUB manually.
Boot up Fedora, mount Ubuntu's / Partition and open /boot/grub/menu.lst file. Copy first title block ( title, root, kernel and initrd lines ) from menu.lst and paste in /boot/grub/grub.conf file of Fedora. Save file and reboot machine. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
