    Installing Java on a VPS

    I used a Virtual Private Server to run a game server (Kaillera - emulinker) and had a friend who is Linux savy help me out..

    Recently the node that houses my VPS had a catastrophic hard disk failure, now I have a new VPS and need to re-install Java (java_ee_sdk-5_03-linux.bin).

    A detailed explanation would go a long way for me, I have searched for help but keep going in circles.
