    Exclamation Multiple HDD w/ GRUB

Is it possible to install GRUB on the mbr of one disk and have it boot a partition on a different HDD. i have windows on one disk and mac osx on another disk on my computer. (crazy huh?) ive managed to corrupt the mbr on both disks using some software called easybcd to control booting cause i dident want to have to select the drive in the bios just to boot another os.

so pretty much i just wanna install grub on the mbr of my first booted drive in the bios and control booting from there.

side note: technically i dont have any linux partions installed and have no swap partition, only hfs+ for mac on one drive and ntfs for windows on the other disk.

    Hi, kdogg53!

Even though I've never owned a Mac, I hear good things about Boot-Camp for dual booting options. Have you looked into any info on that? Or are you just wanting to use GRUB for a specific reason?

    Oh... well that's different

I don't know enough about the MBR for Windows, so I'm not sure how one would go about ssetting up GRUB for a dual-boot without a Linux partition. But I did find this thread, which may be of some use. Maybe one of the other members will jump in to be of better assistance.
