how to install mp3 player
hellow i am new to linux world and i have just installed fedoracore 8 at my pc.
now i need some help and this is my very first thread.
how i can install mp3 player like real player and other video player in core8.
and i dont have /etc/named.conf or /etc/dhcpd.conf file to configure my serrvers for dns and dhcp.
so plz help me if you can give me any guidlines.
i appriciate your every kind of help.

Hiya jaadu, Welcome to the forums.
Check this link for lots of good info on setting up Fedora 8, keep in mind that you need a working Internet Connection for most of these tips and tricks.

Hi!
i'm equally new to linx, and i've got yellow dog linux installed but i cant get mp3, mp4 mpg or avi files to play.I did some checking online and i tried to download mplayer and real player but i dont even know how to install them. i got some advice on win 32 codecs a few days ago but its all like greek to me. And everyones talking about fedora and ubuntu and its really confusing.
Please Help!
