    mouse / keyboard lock up

    running redhat v5 - after 60 seconds of inactivity on the mouse or keyboard they lock - no amount of clicking or key pounding works - any ideas

    I'm new to linux - I can access the server remotely via ssh so I'm thinking this is a desktop env issue.
