hi,just installed linux handy heron on spare drive (D) i get a chance to boot either my windows xp or ubuntu comes up with error 22 anyone got a solution ...

This erros is given by grub if it can't find the partition to boot from, I think.
Did you swap the drives or something to install ubuntu and then back? That would explain it. Otherwise I suppose it's some kind of problem in the ubuntu install process (either due to a buggy install or to some error on your side, that I can't tell).
By the way, try to edit your first post and give it a meaningful title. Your current title only makes it seem like spam and is completely meaningless.

Boot up from Ubuntu CD, open Terminal and execute this
Post output here.Code:sudo fdisk -l
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
