    lock screen is not appearing

    hello,i have fedora 7 on my system,i have logged from root,but there is no such lock screen option i see which i see when i log on as user,can anybody tell how to make it enable ,also tell me is there any short cut available for temporary log off,like window +del key in windows

    In Gnome I use CTRL + ALT + L
