What distro are you running?
Are you using a package manager?
Give us this kind of information so we don't have to ask

It's usually best to remove packages using the package manager that was used to install them. If the packages came pre-installed with your distribution, the default package tool for that distro would be the best option for removing them.

thanks! mine is suse.
i think there can be two kins of program: one is available to all users, and another is only available to current user. can both be managed by package manager?
