Red Hat 3 is really, really old. You could try Fedora 9 which is the community
version of Red Hat or CentOS which is a re-branded Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

But hey, they are free so why not try them all. Just in case you are
wondering, I perfer Ubuntu to Fedora.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Absolutely! It's best to try both and make up your own mind.

As a side note, I, too, prefer Ubuntu, but then again I'm not really all that fond of either of them. Time to start experimenting and decide for yourself which distros do and don't suite your own tastes and computer hardware.

Hope you'll have lots of fun with it.
