    Question another Newbie question

I have wanted to try suse ever since it came out just to see something other than windows.

so I saw version 11 out and open source.. yea!

so I downloaded the live cd version, burned it, and windows wont recognize it so I read that you can install it and use it with xp and vista so I reboot and leave the cd in it goes through a couple pages and then asks me for linux login..?

I tried to enter a user and pass and it keeps telling they are incorrect.. again ???

tried only using letters and number combos and always the same incorrect login.

    so whats the trick?

btw I have my Xp/Vista on Sata drives and use my ide drive for storage.. is this a problem?

also will suse read a NTFS file system?
