    Pendrivelinux and Limerwire

    Hi all,

I've recently installed pendrivelinux on my thumb drive (incredibly easy, btw) but I'm having some trouble installing a few other programs. I've downloaded limewire.deb to it, but when I try to run it I get a message that says "the utility ar is not installed in your PATH."

I wondered is it meant Ark, and tried to use Mandrivra (sp?) to install it but I can't figure out which file I need.

I am an ABSOLUTE Linux newbie and would appreciate any insight you can give me. I've been searching for an answer for a while, but I think I don't know enough to know what questions to search for if that makes any sense. Anyway, thanks in advance if you can help!

    The error message

"the utility ar is not installed in your PATH"

seems to imply , that the location of 'ar' is not included in the environment variable
    "PATH".

If you can include the path of the 'ar' in environment variable , then you should be able to get this issue solved.
