    [SOLVED] recommendation??

    Hi there, it's me again, since I dont found any post over this decided to start a new one.

    In my last post, asked you help me decide whici distro should I installed, well, finally ended with Ubuntu 804.

    Now, my question is: is there any application like Dreamweaver or GoLive?? I know I can emule Adobe suite using wine, I gonna do it later on, but need to know if theres any alternate or any equivalent to this..

    I think that Eclipse can be used for PHP with the right plugin.

    Check qtl extension for Firefox, it may help you with translation.

    A good all round web development tool is Aptana Studio. Its based on Eclipse, so you will need to have java installed.

    I'm not sure how close it is to the apps you've mentioned above, but check out BlueFish. It's my own personal favorite for web design under Linux.

    Personally I Like Komodo Edit. Although I use Bluefish as well, but usually if I want to quickly tweak a file because I can be done before Komodo loads

    All you folks thank you for your time. I gonna try all the apps you suggested, hopefully this can solve my jump into the Linux world since Im pretty lock to the Adobe Creative Suite
