Another wireless thread :[ (problems with DYNEX DX-BUSB)
From what I've read in forums and google, hardly anybody has been able to get the DX-BUSB wireless adapter to work.
I'm using Slax (newest version) from a USB drive, and I have a Dell Optiplex 320 (which means I need to add "pci=nomsi" and "acpi=off" to even get Slax running)
I tried ndiswrapper, and I install everything fine, I install the windows driver fine, but when I enter "modprobe ndiswrapper" I get the message "segmentation fault" and when I try to do it again nothing happens at all. After all of this, when i enter "iwconfig -a" (not sure if that's the exact command) I only see an eth0 device and a lo device.
Weird thing is I can see my wireless card on the USB device list, as a wireless a/b/g device.
Any suggestions?
