    Ain't 100% sure, but you could change the default KDE setting for html files and KMail should follow. BTW - don't you know how to change that it opens link instead downloading them

    sorry, no clue how to change them, but for me it downloads them, then immedietly opens them, so the effect is more or less the same.

    I'm using localised version of KDE so my translation might be a little inaccurate. First open the KDE Control Center, there should be category called Components. Choose file associations from there.
    On the right you'll have various mime types: select text/html and add you browser as the topmost application for handling this type. Hope this helps, regards
