Thumbs down Java in Linux is a joke

Java in Linux is a joke. Do you use the rpm one? Nope if your linux distro is not rpm package management. Do you get it from the repository? Probably not. If so, which one?

Do you download from the Java/Adobe site? Probably. But, which installation?

Once you figure it out, the java version is old and the flash doesn't work. But, you followed the instructions!

    I hate Linux!!!!!!!

You don't seem to be asking a question here. Perhaps you're just trolling for angry replies?

PS: Flash works fine for me. I'll try and help you fix yours if you change your attitude -- if not, I'm sure you'll have better luck in windows. Good luck.

It's working fine for me. I have Ubuntu 8.04. If that's what you have I'll help you out.

You would hate an entire operating system over a plug-in not created by it?

I hate fords, the alpine stereo I put in doesn't work.

The self-extracting BIN file works fine on any distribution.
