Skype Shutting down

Hey all,
i've recently installed the newest version of mandriva and installed skype, i can open skype and sign, but when i click on a button the program shuts down
what's up with that?

Hi,

To get a better idea of the problem please run skype from terminal (open terminal and type "skype"). When skype fails it'll spit out an error most likely, then just copy and paste that error here and we'll be able to help a bit more.
