Hi All,

I'm trying to install OpenSuse on my external to see KDE 4.1 a bit more (I have kubuntu installed on it but it seems too buggy so I want to try one more distro before I say ....to kde). The thing is that I don't like wasting CD's for a one time install of an OS, I use flash to install Ubuntu and Kubuntu and have done that for the past year or so (I install often with Ubuntu).

I have found instructions for putting OpenSuse on a flash but they all require burning a cd first -- i know my roomate used to do this and he never burned the cd, he went direct from iso to flash. Anyone know how this could be done? I've searched a lot and everyone says you need the live cd. I remember him saying that there are only a few minor things you need to do to get it to work.
