    No System Sound

    Hi,

    A fairly trivial issue, this, but MP3s and CDs play fine on Fedora 9 but I there don't seem to be any system sounds such as the synthesiser growl which plays on startup in other installs I've done. System sounds appear to be enabled and mixer volumes are up.

    Sorted!

    I had to disable the internal sound card via the bios to resolve this.
