Thank you. Is it possible to take out Xandros and put in Ubunto or can you have the two of them side by side? I am also having major problems when I download a programme (eg firewall) because it refuses to open.

Indeed you can - it is easier if you have a usb cdrom though...
This is what I am currently running on mine - it does all work nicely
