    install redhat 8.0 from hd :


    hi every 1

    1) I execute the following command from linux :
    mkisofs -R -b boot.img -c boot.catalog -o boot.iso /test

    test folder contains the boot.img file.

    But the created iso images file size is just 4mb. there is also no error comes up.
    I want to know where I am wrong ? How to create iso image properly.

    my Redhat CD's r wright as I also checked it using "linux mediacheck".
    there is no problem.

    so, pls. help me.

    Does it do the same even without the -b and -c options?
