Firewall's annoying messages hindering shutdown/reboot
I've decided to install a firewall, I've used guarddog to configure it.
But now during boot and shutdown there's tons of messages of connections being dropped and so on. Apparently it even makes the computer delay the shutdown or reboot indefinitely, at the point of exhausting my patience and making me hold the power button untill it shuts down. Perhaps I should add a "pkill-something" on the end of .xinitrc?
Anyone knows how to disable just these unimportant messages? I've not found anything in guarddog's options, and all the other GUIs I've tried look far more complicated. Firestarter doesn't, but I've not found anything that seems to be related with that either, and it also seems to eventually just "crash", without error message, the process just vanishes.
