    dvd playback ceased to open

    hi , i am new to linux mint , new to computers really. can anybody help, my dvd play back just stop working , it flashes but fails to play picture menu, any suggestions grateful received, cheers fm nailpouch

    Open a terminal and type

    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

    should work after a reboot
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
    Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17
