    Monitor outbound connections/traffic?

    Hi,

I have a Linux server to host my websites and over the past week or so I've been consuming a ton of bandwidth, although I'm sure it's not coming from people visiting my website regularly.

The traffic mainly seems to be outbound so I was wondering if there was something I could install to monitor outbound connections & traffic and actually see where the bandwidth is going? (not just the numbers)

Thanks in advance, and hopefully I don't sound too newbish.
