    Transfer a driver from Fedora 10 to another Linux Distro?

    I've tried many Linux distros (ie. Fedora 9, Fedora 10, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Knoppix, etc.) The only distro that supports my wireless driver is Fedora 10.

    I really want to use BackTrack 3 as my only Linux distro, but it doesn't support my network adapter.

    Is there anyway I can copy the Fedora 10 drivers onto a removable USB drive and install it onto BackTrack 3?

    Thanks =)

    btw, i posted this under 'Linux Newbie', as opposed to 'Networking' because i thought this was a general driver/kernel question.

    Did your wireless work out of the box on Fedora 10?

    You might try looking at your card manufacturers website to see if they linux drivers for your card for download. Download those and install them into backtrack. I know Intel and Ralink have Linux drivers for download.
