Question Deleting browser history and bookmarking.

I have an Acer Aspire 1 netbook and I can bring up the boxes for deleting history and cache etc but when I try to delete them nothing happens. Also I managed to bookmark two sites earlier but when I switched on again after having a break the sites had gone. I hope someone can help me.

    Welcome to the forums!

    What browser are you using?

Have you tried renaming your configuration folder/files to see if allowing them to rebuild themselves would solve the issue?

    You can try this:

    close Firefox
use your file manager to navigate to the hidden .mozilla folder
...you might have to set your file manager to show hidden files
rename the folder to .mozillaOLD, or something similar
restart Firefox to allow the folder to rebuild itself
Note that you'll loose any bookmarks and settings, but bookmarks can be recovered from the old folder if needed.
