best distro for my specz

Hi to the wonerful land of linux,

I'm a newbie to this world, But have played around with it for some time now...

What I'm looking for, is a Distro that supports my specs. As I'm formly a windows user. But had it with the program, Because it cost way too much.. and doesnt even do wat it is meant too( meaning the OS breaks way to often )

I'm looking for a distro/OS that will allow me to,
1# 100% safely internet bank
2# play some 3d games(maybe a good mmorpg
3# MOST IMPORTANTLY USE -->BLENDER3D<--

my specz are;

amd64 6000+(athlon)
n9800gtx(msi T2D512)
6gig DDR2ram kingston/noname brand(800mhs)
IDE 160g seagate
and razor mouse

p.s I have tried ubuntu and kubuntu 8.10
But got errors of this text

Not sure what the problem is exactly but sure someone1 could give me a
hint. ?

staying up, researching what is needed as my pc formats and hoping to hear some good coments!

Your criteria fit any of the major Linux distributions. I recommend you take a look at our new user tutorials here:

We can't tell you what's going to work best for you; we can only recommend that you try a few and find out yourself. If Kubuntu gives you trouble, try regular Ubuntu or something completely different like Fedora or openSuSE. Good luck.
