USB speakers don't work in Mint

Hi folks, just installed Mint 6 Felicia main edition, dual booting alongside XP Pro.
This is my very first try with Linux, and so far it's been a nice experience..except that my
Trust USB speakers won't work. I've zero idea about how to fix this prob, so if one of you kind people
could help out in very basic lingo i'd much appreciate it.
    Thanks.
    Steve.

I always have trouble with Trust. Trust doesn't make it's hardware Linux compatible. I think the problem is in that.
