XFCE help
I am running Xubuntu on my gaming machine because apparently Gnome and KDE do not want to agree with my specific hardware specs. How do I turn on Compiz-Fusion in XFCE? I downloaded it through Synaptic but it is not running. And Second how do I install themes with XFCE? Do I just create a .themes folder in my Home directory? or am I confused?

I have no idea about theme's in XFCE as I haven't used it much.
For compiz though, just run compiz-manager to start it going. No doubt XFCE has something for managing what runs on start up, or you can add it to .xinitrc

I don't want to have to install Emerald. I just want Compiz-Fusion. Emerald annoys me.

Have you install Nvidia Proprietary Driver?
Code:grep -i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf
