Changing a icon?
So on the dell mini with ubuntu I have this big bar that goes across my screen where I have a bunch off apps at. Well I have mozzilla firefox but it didn't change the icon, it left it as a globe. I have tried right clicking, edit, then it takes me to a bunch of icons but non are the firefox. Then I tried downloading the icon from the web but when I right click edit browse and go to the area I saved it to it shows the file blank. Any ideas? Thanks.

"Browse" button is for the command to execute by launcher, Click on the Icon to the left side to select icon file from local folders.
Btw..many applications icons are provided by icon themes.
Just get few icon themes, most of them have proper icons.
you can get those here

Is the panel you're referring the one along the top of the screen?
You could try right-clicking the icon and removing it completely. Then go to Applications -> Internet -> Firefox. Right-click on Firefox in this menu and click on "Add this launcher to panel".

no, there is a 1" thick bar that goes across the center of my screen where I have apps located. What is weird is my internet icon in my app bar, task bar at top and under the internet category there icons are all the globe. But when I open the internet with them it's mozilla.
