Installing Linux on a Dell XPS One
I have been trying to install Linux on my Dell XPS One (Dell's version of the Imac) but I have not been able to get the graphics hardware to work. I can boot up to the menu, but after that the screen turns blank. So far I have tried both Fedora and Ubuntu. Is there any way to get this to work?

Hello and welcome.
Which version of Linux did you install?
If you have a LiveCD, then you can just reboot the machine and let the LiveCD boot up, open a terminal window and issue this command:
This will tell you which Video card it has and I think that's your whole problem here.Code:lspci |grep VGA
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

Thank you. I have a Fedora 10 live cd. The problem with it is that I have to boot into Fedora before I can install it on to my harddrive It won't let me get me past the log in screen without going blank, and I don't know how to get to a terminal. I also have copies of Ubuntu and Linux Mint if those would better.
