    trouble connecting to the net

    I bought a HP2133 mini note pc which runs on linux. I have never used it before so i'm unsure about it, but i've done the basic set up on it but it's won't connect to the internet! i'm sure it's probably something simple but i'm so lost with linux that i'm stuck! please help! thanks!

    I will assume that you are talking about wired internet and not wireless internet access. If you got linux with your laptop then mostly you should not have issues with drivers. Open a terminal (command prompt) and type

    ifconfig -a
