what is the best firewall for RHEL 5

what is the best firewall could i use to RHEL 5??? without causing squid any problem??

-im using firestarter a my firewall in my RHEL 5 and at the same time the iptables are installed, whenever im using my squid server for web hosting the whole network the ipchains are automaticaly set to drop. it begun when installed the firestater...what should i do???

I would suggest you uninstall all but 1 firewall, as they all serve the same basic function. Also, there is no BEST firewall, they all the their basic tast the same (filtering packets) some just have extra features, or an easier configuration, you will have to try them all to find out.

I would google for iptables however, as that is the recomended/default one by redhat, and unless you have a reason to try something different, I find iptables to be a fine firewall.
