Installing Fedora on a removable hard disk
I have a little problem with my old computer. Curretly I'm running a pretty old version of red hat ( Red Hat 9) and believe me it's really difficult . So I have decided to upgrade to Fedora but here also as usual i have so many problems . My problem is thart the computer has only a CD-Rom so I cant boot DVD of fedora directly on my computer however I plan to remove the hard drive and install fedora form my friends comp. So people any suggestion how to go about it......

You can install Fedora from CD as well as DVD. Check Fedora's download page here. 10 is offered as DVD and CD. You can also scroll down and select 'See all torrents' or 'See all mirrors' for previous releases (offering CD's).
Installing by CD would be easier and less likely to give you errors as it would if you used a different computer. Hardware probably doesn't match on both pc's and that could end up being a problem.

You should be able to do this as far as I know, becuase Fedora does not require a hall.dll like windows. So you should be fine.
You could also install fedora from a CD and then install the other packages as you want them. Or you could format a 4 gig usb flash disk and copying the fedora iso install fedora into the hard disk. That is if your BIOS supports booting from a USB.
