    File Recovery

    Hello,
I want to ask a question about that file recovery situation. I am making a assigment on linux kernel. That is why i removed the original timer.c file in my linux and put an other timer.c file. But not i can not compile the kernel so i want to put the original timer.c file.
Is there a way to bring backmy timer.c file? I removed it from redhat distribution using ext2 file systems...
