Linux for car audio!! a first??
hey guys, gonna need a lot of help with this one...
i've got a hardware guy who can help fix me up with that side of things, but put simply, what i want to do is:
1. i have a toshiba gigabeat s30 30gb hdd mp4 player.
2. i have a 7 inch usb touchscreen.
what i want to do is use both of these in my car as a media player instead of a head unit... so what i need to know is:
1. how do i get linux onto my mp4 player?
2. what linux do i get for my mp4 player
3. (if u can) how will i get the touchscreen to work with both linux and my mp4 player?
i am thinking of using amarok 2.0.2 as the media player
any help pleeease!!!

If you want the same effect, but an easier way to do it check the damn small linux website. They have parts for carputers.
