    What distro are you using?
There are usually easier ways to install Flash than from the website.

I believe the eee can come pre-installed with one of several distros. And by distro (short for distribution), I mean version of Linux. So does yours have eeebuntu? Linpus Lite? Or something else?
The reason I'm asking is because each one of these distro (Linux Versions) installs software such as Flash a bit differently than the others do.

Try this command to see if it will identify your distro
    Code:
    cat /etc/release

download the tar.gz version: Adobe - Adobe Flash Player

extract it (can probably just right click and choose 'extract here' or similar)

go into the 'install_flash_player_10_linux' directory and copy the file 'libflashplayer.so'

paste this file into '.mozilla/plugins/' in your home directory - this is a hidden directory, so you'll have to select 'show hidden files' or similar from your file manager.

    restart firefox, enjoy.

Should this also work for 64-bit?
